Visitors who come from non-EU countries may need a VISA to enter Italy. In case you need a formal invitation to get your VISA, you must register yourself. Once you have registered, you can email the Local Organizing Chair, Teresa Baldassarre (mariateresa.baldassarre@uniba.it) and she will provide you with the letter. You need to inform:
Full name as stated in your passport, nationality, passport number, affiliation (for academics, please provide the department name also), job position, registration confirmation number, the title of the accepted paper if you are an author, the role in the conference if you are a committee member. Please attach your registration confirmation as a PDF to the request. No letter will be provided without proof of registration.
Visa letters can be provided upon request to the following:
- Committee Members
- Authors/Invited Speakers
- Paid Attendees
Visa letters will only state:
- Conference title, dates, and location
- Attendee has paid the required registration fee in full.
Letters cannot be provided to those who have a balance due, or a guest.
