SSE’14: Workshop on Social Software Engineering
The 6th International Workshop on Social Software Engineering (SSE) focuses on the interplay between social computing and software engineering. The workshop is colocated with the 22nd ACM SIGSOFT International Symposium on the Foundations of Software Engineering (FSE 2014).
SSE’14 will be held in Hong Kong, China, on November 16, 2014.
Paper submissions are due within July 7, 2014.
The workshop is organized by Filippo Lanubile, University of Bari, and Raian Ali, Bournemouth University.

CHASE 2012
Siamo reduci dal Workshop on Cooperative and Human Aspects of Software Engineering (CHASE 2012), evento satellite di ICSE a Zurigo.
Il workshop è stato molto proficuo. Abbiamo parlato di SocialTFS e raccolto molti apprezzamenti oltre che una buona occasione di iniziare una sperimentazione a Porto Alegre con project work universitari promossi da Microsoft. Non è ancora il case study industriale ma è comunque un passo avanti.
Supporting the Social Side of Large-Scale Software Development
E’ un workshop che si è tenuto di recente, ospitato da CSCW 2006.
Ahimè, abbiamo fatto male a non andarci. C’era gente conosciuta (Dana, Peggy, Jim) ed era molto interattivo, a giudicare dal programma e dalle foto.
L’unica consolazione è che possiamo leggere gli short paper dai proceedings. Ce ne sono diversi che ho trovato molto interessanti. Lo so che siete molto impegnati ma almeno leggetevi l’indice. Spero vi venga la voglia di leggere qualcosa (Domenico e Mario, innanzitutto).
