è un plugin abbastanza ricco, tra le feature + interessanti segnalo quella relativa ai sinonimi:

The Assign Synonyms section allows associating synonyms with tags. It’s a way of having multiple words map on to a single tag. For example, if you had a photography tag; you might add photo and photograph as synonyms. Presently, the only place where synonyms are used is in the urls of tag pages – with the photo and photograph synonyms in place, if I go to the /tags/photo page, then the posts tagged with photography will display.

Cosa cambia in pratica?

per gli autori: quando si inserisce un nuovo post ci saranno 2 campi aggiuntivi, uno dove inserire i tag da associare al post e un altro campo dove volendo si possono ottenere suggerimenti per i tag da usare.

per i lettori: sarà possibile navigare tra i post mediante i tag, visualizzare la classica “tag cloud” e iscriversi ai feed per ciascun tag

Ho appena cancellato ben 160 commenti in attesa di approvazione. Tutti spam. Li ho dovuti scorrere tutti per controllare che non ci fosse qualcuno che voleva unirsi alla piccola schiera di commentatori (chi è autorizzato la prima volta, lo è per sempre).

Ora penso alle vacanze estive e alle migliaia di commenti che aspetteranno di essere autorizzati o cancellati. Che si può fare?
Io propongo di diminuire drasticamente lo spam chiudendo i post più vecchi. Tempo fa avevo visto un plugin che lo fa automaticamente. Che ne pensate? Volontari?

New Scientist has discovered that Pentagon’s National Security Agency, which specialises in eavesdropping and code-breaking, is funding research into the mass harvesting of the information that people post about themselves on social networks. And it could harness advances in internet technology – specifically the forthcoming “semantic web” championed by the web standards organisation W3C – to combine data from social networking websites with details such as banking, retail and property records, allowing the NSA to build extensive, all-embracing personal profiles of individuals.
